Miami is one of the most spectacular places to visit in Florida. It is fun, alive, sexy, beautiful, vibrate and always welcoming. Miami is the city of sunshine, warmth, great hotels, incredible restaurants, awesome shopping and fantastic nightlife. Miami is alluring, seductive and demands another visit.
Miami is a city that requires many different visits because Miami is surrounded by other cities that are just as fabulous such as Palm Beach (1.5 hours or 75 miles from Miami), Key West (3hr.32 min. or 157 miles from Miami, Baca Raton (58 min. or 157 miles from Miami) and Fort Lauderdale (46 min. or 34 miles from Miami).
If it is your first time visiting Miami, definitely rent a car at the airport and explore as much of Miami and the surrounding areas as you can.

If you are into nightlife, visit South Beach, Miami. There are so many nightclubs on Collins Avenue, Washington Avenue and Ocean Drive that you can choose a different club every night.
Miami is a large city. I prefer to stay in South Beach because there is so much going on in South Beach and it is conveniently located to everything. I can definitely recommend the Loews, Delano South Beach, Fontainebleau Miami Beach, and the South Beach Marriott. If you choose to stay on the North end, the Marenas resort located in Sunny Isles Beach is located directly on the water with great views and modern rooms. This area is known for very exclusive shopping.
